MMC Norilsk Nickel

MMC Norilsk Nickel is a Russian mining and metallurgical company and the world's leading nickel producer with its approximately 20 percent share. In addition to nickel, the Group also produces approximately half of the palladium used in the world. Its other important products are platinum and copper. By-products include cobalt, rhodium, silver and gold.

The Group has premises in three continents and five countries: Russia, Australia, Botswana, South-Africa – and Harjavalta in Finland. The Group has minor shares in Talvivaara Mining Company in Finland and BLC Smelting plant in Botswana.

The Group has a global sales network, and the parent company's total turnover in 2014 exceeded USD 12 billion.
